Broncs Begin Ascending At The Right Time

The Cody Bronc Basketball Team had a big win against a ranked 4A opponent Saturday that may have catapulted the team to a strong finish.

Saturday the Broncs beat the Wyoming 4A number 3 ranked Natrona County Mustangs that came into the game with Cody 11-0 undefeated.

Cody beat Natrona County by 21, 56-35, and earned themselves a strong win.

The Broncs were led in scoring by Junior Chase Hatch and his 13 points, Hatch is also the team’s leading scorer averaging just over 12 points per game.

Two other Broncs scored in double digits including Junior Maddax Ball with 10, and Senior Eli Johnston with 12.

Johnston had a season-high of 4 three-pointers made.

Defensivley the Broncs held Natron County’s two leading scorers to under 5 points each.

The Broncs play Star Valley on Friday at 7:30pm at Sweitzer Gymnasium and Jackson on Saturday at 2:30pm also at Sweitzer.
