Park County Rivals would clash once again Tuesday night, this time on the mats as Powell hosted Cody for their first wrestling duel of the season.
The Bronc Grapplers would get down early but clawed their way back. Danny Becker was the final wrestler of the evening and entered his match with the Broncs down 37-35. come with a 41-37 win after trailing 37-35 heading into the last match. Becker pinned his opponent with 13 seconds to go in the 3rd period helping the Broncs to a 41-37 win.
In addition to Becker, winning by pin for the Broncs were Ghavin Vance (138) who would win in the 3rd period. Jackson Wood (160) had a dramatic cradle the led to his pin in the 3rd winning 6-5. Grayson Beaudrie (170) won 15-10 in three periods. Keaton Stone (182) won handily, pinning his opponent with 30 second remaining in the first. Colin Lindenmann (195) was aggressive pinning his opponent with 1:16 left in the second. Jonas Mickelson (220) would pin his foe with 1:36 remaining in the 2nd period.
