The Cody Indoor track teams were in Gillette over the weekend taking part in the first ever Class 3A State Indoor Championship track meet.
Both the Broncs and Fillies would come away State Champions!
The Fillies finished with 118 points. Star Valley was 2nd with 94 points. Worland finished in 7th with Powell 9th.
The Broncs finished with 113 points. Torrington was 2nd with 88. Powell was 7th.
And now let’s take a look at Fillies top finishers (places 1-8):
Ada Nelson finished 1st in the 800 and 3rd in the 400.
Taylen Stinson was 3rd in the 800 with Ava Stafford 5th.
Stinson was 2nd in the 1600 with Julia Nelson 8th.
Mersades Jackson was 7th in the 3200.
Ava Meier was 6th in the 55 Meter Hurdles with Aspen Kalkowski 8th.
The 4×400, Sprint Medley and 4×800 Relay teams all took 1st. 4X200 relay was 7th.
Kenzie Ratcliff was 2nd in the High Jump with Allison Gee 6th.
Alessandra Broussard was 6th in the Long Jump.
Kelsey Pomajzl won the Pole Vault with Hailey Holeman 3rd, Isabelle Paddock 4th and Emileigh Dalton 5th.
Laura Phillips was 3rd in the Shot Put
And now a look at the Broncs top finishers (places 1-8):
Dillon Brost was 4th in the 55 meter dash with Matt Nelson 8th.
Brost would also finish 4th in the 200 with AJ Baustert 6th.
Matt Nelson won the 400.
Charlie Hulbert was 7th in the 800 and 1600.
Ben Stewart was 5th in the 3200.
Graidin Arnold was 2nd in the 55 Hurdles.
The 4×200 and Sprint Medley Relay teams took 2nd.
4×800 team took 3rd and the 4×400 team took 5th.
Remy Broussard was 1st in both the High and Long Jumps.
Ben Hogan was 3rd in the High Jump and Logan Class was 3rd in the Long Jump.
Broussard also finished 4th in the Triple Jump with Christian Dudrick 6th.
And Kaden Clark won the Pole Vault.
