Alpine Ski Teams Close Out Season at State Meet in Jackson

The Cody Downhill Ski team were in Jackson as they took part in the 2023 State Alpine Ski Meet.

The Fillies would finish in 5th as a team while the Broncs were 6th.

We’ll start with a look at the Girls Giant Slalom.

Natalie Wenke led the way with a 12th place finish with a combined time of 2:18.94. Sunday Schuh took 20th.

On the boys side, it was Logan Ross leading the way, finishing 5th with a combined time of 2:05.35. Joren Vipperman finished 23rd.

As for the slalom results… On the girls side:

Adaya Whitelock led the way with a 6th place finish. Her time was 1:34.14. Bliss Bonner finished 18th.

On the boys side, Wesley Scott was the top placing Bronc as he finished 21st.

In addition to all that, Adaya Whitelock was named to the Wyoming Coaches Association All State Ski Team. She was named 1st Team All-State.
