It’s always cool to get a small look into what things were like a long time ago, and this video of a 1930’s family exploring Yellowstone is exactly that.
The little restrictions on the park back then made it a lot different experience. Hence the children putting their faces right over the steamy geysers.
The National Park Service wasn’t created until 1916 and the first boundary adjustment wasn’t until right before the 1930’s in 1929 so regulations to what was and wasn’t allowed were still being discussed.
