WYDOT officials met with Park County Commissioners in a mostly full Commissioners Conference Room at the Park County Courthouse in Cody at 11AM 2/3/26
WYDOT Engineer Peter Ralston began the presentation touching on several projects for the State Transportation Improvement Program or STIP.
The Pedestrian Crossing at Freedom Street by the schools on Wyoming State Highway 14A was discussed and could see as much as a year delay for completion.
The Albertsons Parking lot in Powell will have adjustments made to the parking lot.
The new state shooting complex approaches have been approved.
Engineer Ralston also talked about the public survey regarding the Wind River Canyon Study on the WYDOT website. WYDOT wants the public to share their experiences with travel in Wind River Canyon.
WYDOT’s Randy Merritt then gave an overview on STIP and said that WYDOT will “engage with the public and work together”
