The Worland High School Track and Field Team started their first practice Monday.
Unfortunately with the wintery conditions in Worland and the snow-covered field and track at Warrior Stadium, the team began conditioning in Warrior Gymnasium instead.
With 12 Seniors returning along with a large Junior and Sophomore class.
The addition of some talented Freshmen along with the large team of Throwers and outstanding Jumpers.
Long Distance Runners also look to be a group that will lead the Warriors.
Worland looks to take a leading spot in Wyoming 3A Track and Field.
Nearly 70 athletes turned up for the opening of practice.
With the addition of the Boy’s Basketball athletes who are still in practice on a State Championship run.
Worland Track and Field has a large amount of potential this season.
