World-renowned, British watercolor artist Tony Foster, and Collier-Read Director of Curatorial, Education, and Museum Services Karen Brooks McWhorter, spoke about the new exhibit that will be on display until mid-October. Entitled, Tony Foster: Watercolours from the Green River, is about many things, but certainly Tony’s love of Wyoming. Tony spoke about how he got started in art, developed his style in watercolors and why he loves hiking into a little-explored region of the world and capturing its beauty in watercolor. Karen spoke about how important and consequential Tony’s work is and how she got to tag and did some fly fishing on the Green River while Tony sketched and painted.
