NWC Volleyball Takes 3 of 4 in Cheyenne

The Northwest College Volleyball team was back in action with four games over the weekend.

It was a successful weekend for the Trapper volleyball team who would win 3 of their four matches over the two days of competition.

Trapper Volleyball opened the day Friday with a 3-0 win over Lamar Community College in Cheyenne. Then in the nightcap they would fall 3-1 to Baron Community College.

The match of the weekend took place on Saturday as Northwest took on Otero Junior College in a re-match from last week. This was a 5-match thriller with each team going back-and forth in the first four matches with Northwest coming out on top in the end,  earning a 15-11 win in the final set.

Saturday night the Trappers would keep their winning ways going, defeating Trinidad State Junior College 3-1.

Through their first two weeks of action the Northwest College Volleyball team sits at 4-4 on the season.

Trapper Volleyball is back in action Wednesday February 3rd hosting Rocky Mountain College JV for their home opener. That game is scheduled for 7pm.
