NWC Rodeo Teams off to Strong Start

The Northwest College men’s and women’s rodeo teams are off and running this spring.

The teams competed in the Montana State Spring Rodeo in Bozeman, Montana April 8^th-11^th and the Miles Community College Spring Rodeo in Miles City, Montana April 15^th-16^th.

Today a look at the Big Sky Rgion Standings and where Northwest College sits as of April 19^th.

The Northwest College men’s team currently stands in 3^rd place out of seven teams with the women’s team in 5^th place.

Men’s All-around: Sterling Rogers is in 6^th place while Bruin Bradshaw is in 7^th.

Saddle Bronc Riding: Cody Weeks is in 2^nd with Cole Biggers 7^th.

Bareback Riding: Bruin Bradshaw is in 4^th with Sterling Rogers 5^th.

Bull Riding: Six Northwest College athletes crack the top ten here. Staerling Rogers is 2^nd followed by Austin Herrera, Cameron Plaisted and Bruin Bradshaw 3^rd through 5^th, respectively. Bo Howell is 7^th with Justin Ketzenberg 9^th.

Steer Wrestling: Paden Woolstenhulme is 9^th with Bruin Bradshaw tied for 15^th.

Team Roping Header: Paden Woolstenhulme is 15^th.

Team Roping Heeler: Hagen Wallace is 13^th.

Barrel Racing: Hailey Davis is 15^th.

The Northwest College Rodeo teams will be on the road to Great Falls, Montana April 23^rd-24^th to compete in the University of Providence Spring Rodeo.
