Matt Nelson Breaks More Records, Cody Track Heating Up

The Cody Indoor Track teams were back in action as they took part in the Sheridan Bronc Invited in Gillette.

The Broncs would finish in 2^nd as a team while the Fillies took 3^rd.

Matt Nelson was the story of the day as he won 3 events: the 55, 200 and 400.

He would set new records in both the 2 and 4, breaking his own record from earlier this season.

His 200 time was 23.10 and his 400 time was 51.49.

Other notable perfromers from the Broncs were:

Dillon Brost finished 4^th in the 55 and 6^th in the 200.

Riley Nielson and David Juergens were 2^nd and 4^th in the 800.

Ben Stewart was 3^rd in the 3200.

Sprint Medley Relay team took 1^st.

Remy Broussard was 1^st in the Triple Jump and 2^nd in the High Jump.

Kaden Clark was 2^nd in the Pole Vault.

Over on the girls side:

Ada Nelson finished 1^st in the 800. Ava Stafford was 3^rd while Julia Nelson was 4^th.

Taylen Stinson was 1^st in the 3200.

Both the Sprint Medley and 4×800 Relay teams were 1^st.

Ava Meier was 3^rd in the 55 hurdles with Aspen Kalkowski 4^th.

Kelsey Pomajzl was 2^nd in the Pole Vault.

According to their schedule the Cody Indoor track teams will be back in action, Thursday February 23rd, competing in the Sheridan invite at Campbell County in Gillette.
