Governor’s Essentials Forum Comes to Cody!

Governor Mark Gordon was in Cody Monday night for the Cody Country Chamber’s Essentials Forum as he continues his tour across the state to discuss the Wyoming 2026 budget, and his essentials.

The evening started at 5PM at the Holiday Inn Main Ballroom in Cody, there were opening remarks from Cody Country Chamber Director, Jennifer Thoma, Park County Chairman of the Board of Commissioners, Scott Steward, and Cody Mayor, Lee Ann Reiter. Governor Gordon then had an opening statement and then fielded 14 questions from the public.  A wide range of topics were discussed and how the essentials budget was addressing the public’s concerns.

after the Forum the Governor stated “my general observations is we need to do a better job of getting information out to this part of the state, and other parts of the state. A lot of stuff happens in Cheyenne that people don’t necessarily understand, and so, tonight was a great opportunity to answer questions and listen to concerns.”

The Governor’s Essentials Forum has two

more stops, Torrington on February 25th and Rock Springs March 2nd.
