The first ever WHSAA Girls Wrestling State Championship Tournament took place over the weekend.
Ashton Hubbs was the lone Filly that took part in the State Tourney and represented her home of Cody in great fashion.
Hubbs would come away with a 2nd place State Finish in the inaugural season of Girls Wrestling.
Hubbs would fall to Kelly Walsh’s Olivia Smith in the championship. Smith is the only wrestler to defeat Hubbs this season.
Hubbs would end up winning her first two matches of the event, defeating opponents out of Dubois and Star Valley.
Hubbs officially finishes the season 16-4.
