Cody Indoor Track Team with One Final Tune-Up Before State.

THE CODY INDOOR TRACK TEAM WAS IN ACTION OVER THE WEEKEND TAKING PART IN THEIR FINAL EVENT BEFORE STATE. THE TRACK TEAMS SPLIT UP THE TEAMS SENDING A GROUP TO GILLETTE WHILE ANOTHER GROUP PERFORMED IN LARAMIE.

THE GROUP THAT WENT TO LARAMIE SAW THE BRONCS ISAAC TAYLOR PLACE FIRST IN THE HIGH JUMP AT 6-FEET, 3-INCHES AND THIRD IN THE 55-METER HURDLES. DANIEL GEOGHEGAN FINISH SECOND IN THE POLE VAULT AT 11-FEET, 3-INCHES. TODD BOWLED FINISHED EIGHT IN THE SHOT-PUT WITH A THROW OF 42-FEET, 1-INCH.

TOP PERFORMERS THAT WENT TO LARAMIE FOR THE FILLIES INCLUDE GRACE SHAFFER WHO WAS 1ST IN THE POLE VAULT AND 3RD IN THE 55-METER HURDLES. SARAH ANDRE WAS 4TH IN THE HIGH JUMP.

THE GROUP THAT WENT TO GILLETTE HAD WYATT BECKER LEAD THE BRONCS WINNING BOTH THE 1600 AND 800-METER RUNS. JACKSON GAIL WON THE 400 AND THE SPRINT MEDLEY RELAY TEAM TOOK 1ST.

FILLIES PLACE FIRST IN FIVE EVENTS. RILEY SMITH IN THE 1600, NEVAEH ASAY IN THE 55-METER HURDLES, JAZLYN WALTARI IN THE 200-METER DASH, AVA STAFFORD IN THE 800 AND HOLLY SPIERING IN THE LONG JUMP. THE FILLIES ALSO CAME AWAY WITH FIRST PLACE FINISHES IN THE SPRINT MEDLEY RELAY AND THE 4X400.
