The Cody Softball team was in Gillette on Monday and Tuesday as they would take on Campbell County and Thunder Basin.
Two important match-ups prior to the State Tournament. The experience gained from these contests is unmatched.
On Monday, the Fillies would face Campbell County.
The Lady Camels would win in extras, plating 2 in the bottom of the 8th to secure the 6-5 win, in game 1.
Cody would lose game 2, as well, 11-1.
On Tuesday, the Fillies faced-off with the defending Sate Champs, Thunder Basin.
The Fillies found themselves down 3-0 early but battled back and tied the game.
It was all knotted up at 5 a-piece in the 7th when the Lady Bolts walked it off for the 6-5 victory.
The two teams only played one game on Tuesday.
Following all the action, the Fillies are now 16-5 on the season.
