The Cody Fillies Volleyball team finished 3rd in Wyoming 4A Volleyball.
The Fillies opened the State Tournament in Casper at the Wyoming Ford Center Thursday with a 3-0 win over Cheyenne East 25-22, 25-19, 25-17.
Friday the Fillies would face the number 1 Wyoming 4A ranked Laramie Plainsmen.
Cody would fall in 5 sets 3-2, 22-25, 25-22, 20-25, 25-16, 15-12.
The Fillies would play Campbell County at 9am the next morning and and get a 3-1 win 21-25, 25-22, 25-18, 25-22.
The win would set up a fourth match with Kelly Walsh for 3rd place in Wyoming 3A.
The Fillies would get the season sweep of the Lady Trojans winning in 4 sets 3-1, 15-25, 25-11, 26-24, 25-22.
Cody would earn 3rd place in Wyoming 4A Volleyball and atone for the previous seasons sweep of Kelly Walsh over Cody.
Laramie would win the Wyoming 4A State Championship over Thunder Basin 3-2 25-23, 25-15, 25-27, 21-25, 15-11.
This was the final season of Cody competing at the 4A level, next season Cody will be in 3A.
